Pray for your enemies, plead to God for them, they cannot do for themselves; they cannot find Heaven on their own. Forgive as Christ forgave you. Only in the experience of being forgiven can you learn to forgive.

People who aren’t followers of Jesus Christ are not your enemies, but the same principle applies to them. They to, cannot do for themselves.

It seems so unfair to forgive injustice…I am caught between forgiveness and justice. Reciprocity never works, but I must make the first move. Only the process of God forgiving us let’s us bow, surrender and win the victory. There is no victory without surrender.

The Gospel of Grace begins and ends with forgiveness. Grace is the only force in the universe powerful enough to break the chains that bind us to sin. Grace is what God give us that we don’t deserve and mercy is what God does not do to us that we do deserve. Jeremiah 17:7-8

Take the initiative…God goes first. Like a lovesick Father waiting on the prodigal. Grace and faith take us to eternity.
