I would like to say that these books are not that important in my life. They did not shape my thinking nor did they point my life in the direction that it took. They were thoughtful books that were assigned to me in school, discovered on my own, or just recommended by a friend. They in no way influenced me what-so-ever. Of course, now you know that is not the truth. Truth is, these books, for whatever reason, molded my mind, my thinking, my outlook, my general "color" on everything I experienced as a young person.

For no particular reason, the things I learned in these books became the way I thought when I looked at a problem or sought answers. As I grew older, the thinking processes I learned from these books became a way of looking at life so as to glean the most impact from lessons I learned and ways to not repeat the same mistakes. Not repeating the mistakes I saw others make and using the "outside the box" thinking mode I learned from these books kept me in good stead all throughout my life. Jolly Moon
